1 Reduce loan processing period from two months to two weeks
  • Inspect application forms against checklist at point of receipt to avoid delays
  • Introduce service level agreements between departments involved in loan processing to guarantee timelines
2 Reengineer existing products and introduce impactful, demand driven products with focus on the value chain, in consultation with the clients
  • Involve customers in the review of existing and design of new loan products to ensure relevance
  • Develop demand driven products which have demonstrable impact
  • Develop products along regional and sector needs to ensure impact
  • Remove interest from loans and use only flexible collateral where repayment seems uncertain

5 Facilitate 1000 youth to take employment opportunities abroad
  • Partner with agencies accredited by the Ministry of Labour to source jobs abroad
  • Provide pre-departure training and migration loans to successful applicants
6 Support 50000 young entrepreneurs access new and existing business opportunities
  • Issue signed tenancy agreements to 70 youth in the Nakuru market stalls project
  • Sensitize 2,000 youths on AGPO, jobs abroad, product coding
  • Provide Mentorship and business advisory services for 2000 youths
  • Partner with government and private sector agencies to provide capacity building to 46,000 youth
7 Negotiate 10 supply contracts for youth enterprises

8 Strengthen communication and partnerships with key stakeholders of the YEDF
  • Hold stakeholder forums with youth, media, development partners, grassroots partners
