Mr. Ronald Osumba is the chairman of the Youth Enterprise Development Fund Board. He has over 12 years work experience in the private sector. He is currently the Head of Public Sector at Oracle Corporation Kenya. He has previously worked as a Senior Manager for Government Relations at Safaricom Ltd, Managing partner at Emerald Africa Consulting.

Mr. Osumba has a wealth of experience in youth related matters having worked with youth serving organizations including the Kenya Model United Nations, Youth Agenda and National Youth Convention among others. He is the founder of Onward Kenya which is a Social Action platform that rally’s Youth to organize for social Change. He chairs the Board of the Youth Entrepreneurship and Sustainability (YES) Kenya and serves on the Managing Committee of the Starehe Boys’ Centre where he also chaired its Alumni association. He is also a board member of the Uzima University Foundation Board and steers its Executive & Publicity and the Legal & Liaison Committees.

Mr. Osumba has led highly successful teams in the areas of public policy, business development, thought-leadership, brand, relationship and financial management. He is a graduate of Aspen Institute and an Archbishop Tutu Fellow.



Ms. Caroline Oloo is the Ag. National Coordinator and Legal Aid Officer at the National Legal Aid & Awareness Programme (NALEAP) under the office of the Attorney General (now State Law Office) and Department of Justice. Ms. Oloo has a Master of Laws degree from the Pondicherry University, Bachelor of Laws degree from the Mangalore University, and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.

Ms. Oloo has over thirteen (13) years working experience and exposure in various fields, including the public service, and the private sector as legal practitioner in civil, criminal law, commercial and management.

She has valuable experience in management, leadership, system audits, inter- agency networking with both state and non-state actors; professional and organizational mediation and on access to justice particularly legal aid.


Julie is a member of the National Honours System Review Taskforce, Office of the Chief of Staff, head of Public Service and Secretary to the Cabinet.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance & Accounting) from the Kenya Methodist University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Development from Institute of Commercial Management (UK). She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Finance).

Ms. Waweru has previously worked as a Director at the National Youth Council which is a State Corporation for Service and representation of Kenya Youth. She has also served as an Entrepreneurship Consultant at the Marshall Group of Companies and a committee member in the Enterprise Development Fund for Women, Youth and PWD in Kiambu County

Ms. Waweru is a member of the Association of Business Executives (MABE), Member Institute of Directors (IOD), Kenya and ACCA (UK)



Juliet Obaga holds a Master’s degree in Science (Management and Leadership Studies) from the Management University of Africa (MUA), Higher Diploma in Forensic Psychology and Criminology from the Kenya Institute of Studies in Criminal Justice. Degree in Bachelor of Laws from the Moi University and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.

Ms. Nyang’ai is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Principal Partner at the Juliet Nyangai & CO. Advocates. She is currently the Managing Director at Jobaga Consultancy. She has previously worked at the Office of The Deputy President as a JICA Consultant on Policy, Legal & Socio- Economic Affairs.

Ms. Nyang’ai has a wealth of experience in the legal fraternity having worked in several other organization such as MESSRS, Mogaka Omwenga & Mabeya Advocate, Elliot and Harrison Corporation (EHC). She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), Federation of Women Lawyers in Kenya (FIDA) and International Commission for Jurists (Kenya Chapter).



Benson holds a Bachelor of Education (Arts) from the University of Nairobi. Mr. Mutemi has played leadership roles having served in various boards including the Kenya National Youth Council, Kitui Land Task Force Team 2 and the Kitui Central Constituency Uwezo Fund management Committee.
