Youth Fund Director Encourages Young People To Take Up Products And Services By Youth Fund

Youth Fund Board Director Julie Waweru has encouraged young people to take up the various products and services provided by the Youth Fund in order to gain economic independence. She said that the Fund has officers in every constituency who help youth in the loan application process. Ms. Waweru was speaking during the #HudumamashinaniEmbu sensitization program that took place today at Runyenjes Stadium in Embu County.

The Youth Fund's CEO Josiah Moriasi asked youth to make use of the huduma services being provided at the event especially in taking up national identification cards which are necessary to access government services. He also said that the Fund was diversifying its loan products to benefit youth in various sectors of the economy. " We will work with other institutions to develop products targeting youth in various economies including those in the creative economy. Mr. Moriasi encouraged youth to take up more loans noting that the Fund has so far disbursed Kshs. 17.4 Million benefiting 3634 youth in Runyenjes Constituency.
